An Escambia County jury has unanimously recommended the death penalty for Joshua Douglas, 32, White, for the 2010 sexual assault and murder of 25-year-old Jamie Miranda Broxson. Circuit Judge Terry Terrell set a May 23 date for a Spencer. This hearing is held for the purpose of presenting any further evidence for Terrell to consider before imposing sentence.
