USA - Florida. Florida Supreme Court threw out Eddie Bigham's death sentence

Florida Supreme Court threw out Eddie Bigham's 2005 death sentence and downgraded his conviction to second-degree murder. The court ruled 6-1 that there was not enough evidence to prove Bigham acted with premeditation during the May 2003 killing of  “LuLu" Cavazos, 40. Bigham, now 50, will have to stand a new trial.
