Polk County Judge Donald Jacobsen agreed with a march 9 jury's recommendation and sentenced Robert McCloud, 31, black, to death. McCloud was given 2 death sentences for his convictions on 2 counts of 1st-degree murder. McCloud was part of a 5-man robbery crew that broke into a home on Oct. 4, 2009. The group killed 2 people: Tamiqa Taylor, 26, and Dustin Freeman, 23.
