Pinellas-Pasco Circuit Judge Thane Covert formally sentenced Ralph Wright to death. On February 7, 2013 (see), a jury has recommended the death sentence for Wright, 46, Black, in a 7-to-5 decision over the murders of his former lover Paula O'Conner, 39, and their 15-month-old son Alijah on July 6, 2007.
