The Florida Supreme Court vacated the death sentence of Kenneth Jackson, 34, White. The Court issued an order, citing Hurst, vacating the death sentence and remanding to the circuit court for a new penalty phase to Baker because he had been sentenced to death based upon an 11-1 jury recommendation for death. He was sentenced to death on June 5, 2013 (see) in Hillsborough County for the September 13, 2007 killing of 50-year-old Cuc Thu Tran.
