The Florida Supreme Court on Thursday vacated the June 27, 2014 (see) death sentence for Brandon Lee Bradley because it was not unanimous. A Brevard County jury had recommended 10-2 death penalty on April 8, 2014 (see). Bradley, 27, Black, was found guilty in the March 6, 2012 killing of Barbara Pill, 53, a Sheriff's Deputy. The state Supreme Court ruled that since the jury’s decision for the death penalty wasn’t unanimous, Bradley will get a new penalty phase.
