A Lake County jury has recommended the death penalty for Kevin Isom, 47, black. The jury found Isom guilty in the August 6, 2007 shooting deaths of his wife, Cassandra, 40, and stepchildren, 16-year-old Michael Moore and 13-year-old Ci'Andria Cole. Isom lost his job shortly before the slaying and told police his wife had threatened to leave him. Isom will be sentenced March 8.
