the Indiana State House has approved a death penalty bill (HB 1746) saying anyone who intentionally kills someone under age 18 while committing or attempting to commit child molesting, criminal deviate conduct, kidnapping, or rape could get the death penalty.
The legislation, approved 72-17 and sent to the Senate for consideration, was backed by Rep. Terry Goodin.
