District Judge Todd Hernandez followed a jury's April 17 recommendation that Anthony Bell be executed for fatally shooting 4 of his in-laws and his wife on May 21, 2006. Bell, 27, was found guilty April 11 on 5 counts of 1st-degree murder. Today received 5 death sentences from Hernandez. The victims were: husband and wife Leonard Howard, 78, and Gloria Howard, 72, Darlene Selvage, 47, and Doloris McGrew, 68. Bell's 24-year-old wife, Erica Bell, was fatally shot later that day.
