Judge Carl Sharp sentenced Lee Roy Odenbaugh Jr. to death today in 4th Judicial District Court in Monroe. Almost a year after his conviction of 2 counts of 1st degree murder. Odenbaugh has been sentenced to death on both murder charges. Odenbaugh, 44, was convicted in November 2008 of the Dec. 2, 2006 killing of his wife, Sondra Odenbaugh, and her mother, Sissy Porter. During the penalty phase, the jury decided Odenbaugh should die by lethal injection. After many motions for dismissal and retrials, Judge Sharp told Odenbaugh his fate today at the Ouachita Parish Courthouse. The shootings occurred after a family argument.
