USA - Missouri. A jury has recommended that David Hosier, 58, White, be executed

A Cole County jury has recommended that David Hosier, 58, White, be executed for killing Angela Gilpin, 45, a woman with whom he had a relationship. The same panel convicted Hosier two days before of first-degree murder in the Sept. 28, 2009 fatal shooting of Gilpin. The victim and her husband, Ronald Gilpin, 61, were shot at their apartment. Prosecutors said the couple had been trying to reconcile. A judge will sentence Hosier sometime later. Hosier was charged in both killings, but the status of the case against him in Ronald Gilpin's death is unclear. A formal sentencing date has not been set.
