Brian Dorsey was sentenced to death for the slaying of his cousin and her husband. Boone County Circuit Judge Gene Hamilton ordered the death penalty in a sentencing hearing for Dorsey, 26, white. A Boone County jury on Aug. 28 recommended death sentences for Dorsey in the Dec. 23, 2006, slayings of Ben and Sarah Bonnie. Dorsey already had pleaded guilty to 2 counts of 1st-degree murder in the case. Dorsey had raped Sarah Bonnie.
