USA - North Carolina. A jury recommended that Danny Hembree, 49, white, should get the death penalty

A Gaston County jury recommended that Danny Hembree, 49, white, should get the death penalty for the October 2009 murder of 17-year-old Heather Catterton. Hembree is also accused of killing 30-year-old Randi Dean Saldana in 2009 and 30-year-old Deborah Denise Ratchford in 1992. The other two cases will be tried separately.
