USA - Ohio. The Ohio Adult Parole Authority denied clemency to Raymond Tibbetts.

The Ohio Adult Parole Authority has recommended that Governor John Kasich deny clemency to Raymond Tibbetts. Kasich had previously granted Tibbetts a reprieve and directed the parole board to consider information from one of the jurors in the case that, as a result of prosecutorial misconduct and ineffective defense representation, the jury had been misled about critical mitigating evidence that would have changed his sentencing vote.
