USA - Oklahoma. Governor ratified HB 1693

May 9, 2025 - Oklahoma. On 9 May, the governor ratified HB 1693, which amends the process for determining mental competency for execution. Among other things, it requires, once an execution is set, a review of the mental condition of the offender by the sentencing court.
