USA - Oklahoma. Julius Ricardo Young was executed

Julius Ricardo Young was executed at the Oklahoma State Penitentiary in McAlester. Young, 60, black, was convicted of killing Joyland Morgan, 20, and her son, Kewan, 6, on Oct. 1, 1993. Young becomes the 1st condemned inmate to be put to death this year in Oklahoma, and the 92nd overall since the state resumed capital punishment in 1990. Young becomes the 5th condemned inmate to be put to death this year in the USA and the 1193rd overall since the nation resumed executions on January 17, 1977.
