The Pennsylvania Senate today passed Senate Resolution 6, a resolution to establish a comprehensive analysis of capital punishment in Pennsylvania. The resolution passed 38-12 and over the objections of the Pennsylvania District Attorneys Association. Because it is a resolution, it does not need approval from the House or the governor.
