USA - Texas. A jury sentenced Cortne’ Mareese Robinson, 20, black, to death

An Harrison County jury sentenced Cortne’ Mareese Robinson, 20, black, to death for the capital murder of 82-year-old Frank Zabokrtsky. Robinson, the first of three co-defendants to stand trial for the capital murder of Zabokrtsky, was found guilty last Monday of capital murder by intentionally causing the death of Zabokrtsky on Sept. 20, 2009, while in the course of burglarizing his home. During the trial, the victim's wife, Arnola Zabokrtsky,  testified that Robinson and 2 other men kidnapped and raped her. Robinson becomes the youngest Texan on death row.
