Michael Wayne Hall, 31, white, has been executed. Hall was condemned for the 1998 torture-slaying of Amy Robinson, 19. Hall and Robert Neville were convicted in her slaying, and Neville was put to death 5 years ago. Hall becomes the 1st condemned inmate to be put to death this year in Texas and the 465th overall since the state resumed capital punishment on Dec. 7, 1982. Hall becomes the 6th condemned inmate to be put to death this year in the USA and the 1240th overall since the nation resumed executions on January 17, 1977.
