The European Union has released to the public an online archive (https://eeas.europa.eu/delegations/united-states-america/35027/death-penalty-archive_en) of EU engagement with the United States and individual states in past death-penalty cases. The archive goes back eighteen years and includes letters to governors and pardons boards, official statements issued by the EU, amicus briefs filed in court cases, and more.
