VIETNAMESE COURT SENTENCES MAN TO DEATH FOR MURDER

Tran Van Thanh, 27, allegedly murdered a 38-year-old woman on June 1, 2008. Thanh told the court his girlfriend was pregnant but he did not have enough money to marry her so he decided to steal.
