YEMEN SUPREME COURT CONFIRMS DEATH PENALTY

Judge Murshid Jumaiee of Yemen's Supreme Court confirmed the death penalty of Muslim Abdul Aziz al-Obeidi, 39, for murdering Jewish man Masha Yaish Nahari in 2008 in Amran, Raydah. Al-Obeidi was sentenced by the Amran province court of appeal in 2009. He is set to be executed in Amran central prison.
