The Specialized Criminal Court in Sanaa upheld on 19 August 2020 the death penalty against two Al-Qaeda members.

The Specialized Criminal Court in Sanaa upheld on 19 August 2020 the death penalty against two Al-Qaeda members.
In a session, headed by Judge Abdullah Ali Farhan Al-Najjar, accused the two members belonging to Al-Qaeda of committing crimes and participating in fighting against the Yemeni army and popular committees.
The court also decided to imprison another convict for 10 years and place him under the supervision of the security for a period of three years.
