YOUNG MAN SENTENCED TO DEATH FOR MURDER

the Divisional Speedy Trial Tribunal Court, in Bangladesh, awarded the death penalty to a young man and life imprisonment to four others for killing a villager in Nabinagar of Brahmanbaria district two years ago. The judge handed down the death sentence to Yusuf Ali, 29. Life imprisonment was awarded to Humayun Khan, 27, Mohammad Yusuf, 32, in the dock and Jamal Khan, 30, and Shuklal Dey, 32, in absentia.
