A 19 year old Iranian woman named as Leila M

A 19 year old Iranian woman named as Leila M. was sentenced to death for incest, according to the daily Khorasan, adding that she had borne a child from the illicit sexual relations.
The paper did not provide further details, not saying whether the person she was accused of having illicit relations with had also been sentenced to death.
The focus was on Leila because, according to local police sources, the woman was at the "head of a center of vice", that is to say prostitution ring, in Arak, 250 Km south west of Teheran.
Enquiries had uncovered five of these "centers" and led to the arrests of 13 people, including Leila.
According to Article 82 of the current Islamic criminal code in force in Iran, those found guilty of incest are to be put to death. The method of execution is not specified.
