A convicted murderer was hanged in the central city of Isfahan, the sixth execution made public in less than a week, the conservative Qods daily reported.
The murderer, only identified as "Seifollah," was hanged in the early hours after having been found guilty of stabbing to death 'Mehrdad Mellat' in June.
According to the daily, Mellat was chasing the murderer after he stole 150,000 rials (18 dollars).
