A court in Yinchuan, Ningxia Autonomous Region, sentenced Sun Denglin, Zhu Weilin, Xu Penghui and Zhou Shulin to death for issuing false specialised value-added tax invoices, the Ningxia Ribao newspaper reported

A court in Yinchuan, Ningxia Autonomous Region, sentenced Sun Denglin, Zhu Weilin, Xu Penghui and Zhou Shulin to death for issuing false specialised value-added tax invoices, the Ningxia Ribao newspaper reported. "On 25 October 2000, Zhu, age 31, a Guangdong native, colluded with others to use false identity cards and other documents to set up Yinchuan Yinke Trading Ltd Co. From 8 December 2000 to 6 February 2001, Zhu used his company name to issue 194 false invoices to 58 units worth 28.4m yuan, evading 2.7m yuan in taxes. Zhu earned illegal profits of 610,000 yuan. From November 2000 to January 2001, Zhu bought 1,010 false invoices from Beijing, Tianjin, Guangzhou and Fujian units worth 17m yuan," the newspaper said. The suspects were sent to the execution ground after the trial.
