Ah Thwe, 19, a Burmese man, was sentenced to death in Thailand by the Provincial Court for killing his American boss and four other people

Ah Thwe, 19, a Burmese man, was sentenced to death in Thailand by the Provincial Court for killing his American boss and four other people. He had been found guilty of killing William Deters, the founder of a sanctuary for gibbons in Phop Phra district, in May 2002. Ah Thwe, a former employee, sneaked into Deters' home on May 10 and stole five pistols. On his way out he ran into his former boss and shot him dead. He also shot and killed four other people, including a three-year-old girl.
