an Iranian man convicted of murdering seven people was hanged publicly before a cheering crowd in the eastern desert oasis of Tabas. The man, identified as Mehdi Rashid-Pour, had been convicted of carrying out the crimes in Esfandyar village in the north-eastern province of Khorasan.
