Wang Xingping, 39, a top gangster was executed in western China, the official Xinhua News Agency reported. He was convicted in 2008 of murder, robbery, gun running, drug trafficking, bribery and operating illegal casinos. 18 other members of Wang's gang were given penalties ranging from two years in jail to a suspended death sentence.
