Hands Off Cain greets the award of the Nobel Peace prize to Iranian lawyer and activist Shirin Ebadi

Hands Off Cain greets the award of the Nobel Peace prize to Iranian lawyer and activist Shirin Ebadi.
HOC feels it is a boost for the fight for human rights in Iran and salutes Ms Ebadi for immediately calling for the liberation of all political prisoners in Iran. HOC also sees this choice as a condemnation of the Mullah's regime in Iran, a state that in 2002 was second only to China as the most prolific executioner worldwide.
HOC's 2003 report lists 316 executions in Iran in 2002, including those of at least six women, one of whom was stoned to death.
