in Malaysia, Justice Mohd Yazid Mustaffa sentenced interior designer Lee Boon Kuang, 40, to hang after convicting him of trafficking 3.98kg of methamphetamine (syabu) seven years ago. Justice Mohd Yazid meted out the sentence after ruling that Lee had trafficked the drugs from Paris to Johor Baru, and that he had knowledge and possession of the drugs. Lee was arrested at the KL International Airport on Sept 25, 2004.
