Chhatrapati Mandal, Manoj Rajwar, Jiten Marandi and Anil Ram were sentenced to death on June 23 by Additional District and Sessions Judge Giridih in connection with the massacre that killed former Jharkhand Chief Minister Babulal Marandi's son Anup and 19 other villagers on October 26, 2007.
