According to reports received by Hengaw, at dawn on January 1, 2025, Heydat Ghasemi, a resident of Rudan, Hormozgan Province, and two Afghan nationals (identities and charges under review) were executed in Bandar Abbas Prison. The two Afghan nationals were executed secretly and were denied a final meeting with their families. Heydat Ghasemi had been sentenced on drug-related charges, according to Haalvsh News. As of the time of this report, state-affiliated media and judiciary-related outlets have not announced the executions.
