According to a report obtained by Hengaw the death sentence of Ameneh Alipour, a Turkish female prisoner, was carried out in Zanjan Central Prison at dawn on Saturday, December 7, 2024. She was the fourth woman executed in Iran last week, and the ninth Turkish woman executed in Iran this year. Ms. Alipour, 37, had been arrested three years ago on charges of murder. According to the data recorded by the NCRI Women’s Committee, Ms. Alipour is the 32^nd woman executed in Iran in 2024, and the 261^st since 2007.
As of this report, state media, have not announced or confirmed Ms. Alipour’s execution.
