IRAN: AT LEAST 4 PRISONERS HANGED IN GHEZELHESAR PRISON IN KARAJ

At least four prisoners were hanged in Ghezelhesar prison in Karaj.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), these prisoners, all of whom were convicted of drug related charges, were transferred to solitary confinement on September 13.
“Ali Tafreshi”, “Hossein Rostami”, “Mahmoud Barati” and “Mehdi Rahimi” are the four prisoners who were executed on September 14 morning, and a prisoner, with the first name “Zanyar”, who was transferred to the solitary confinement on September 13, was not executed as his verdict was stopped.
So far, none of the authorities and judicial officials have given any information or clarified regarding their cases.
