the acting head of Khuzestan Province's Justice Department announced that Hamzeh Savari, one of the defendants in the case of the Ahvaz bombings, had been sentenced to death. The verdict was issued following the defendant's last defence at the trial on charges of enmity with God and endangering national security. Iran’s Supreme Court of Justice endorsed the verdict.
