Iran executed four members of a Kurdish opposition party in eight days, the Democratic Party of Iranian Kurdistan (PDKI) said.
In a statement released in Paris, the party said the four men had been tortured before their executions, the latest of which was on October 13. It named the executed men as Hamzeh Ghaderi, Khalid Showghi, Jalil Zewei and Saleh Godarzi.
Iranian officials were not immediately available for comment.
While the Kurdish group took part in the 1979 revolution which toppled the US-backed shah, the Islamic government which emerged soon fell out with the PDKI which had its power-base in western Iran near the Turkish and Iraqi borders.
Tehran, helped by Iraqi Kurdish forces, sent thousands of troops into the region to quell the rebellion.
The PDKI says it stands for democratic, secular government in Iran with autonomy for the Kurdish regions.
The Islamic Republic insists Kurds enjoy equal rights and contrasts the relative peace in Iranian Kurdistan with the situation in Kurdish-populated areas of Iraq and Turkey.
