IRAN. EXECUTION OF POLITICAL PRISONERS IN IRAN CONDEMNED IN NEW YORK

the Iranian community in New York condemned the execution of political prisoners in Iran in a demonstration outside the UN headquarters.
Participants in the demonstration deplored the death warrant issued for Valiollah Feiz-Mahdavi, 28, a member of the People's Mojahedin Organization of Iran, who has been in prison for the past five years as a political prisoner.
The demonstration also called for tough measures against the clerical regime for its gross violations of human rights and nuclear weapons program in total defiance of the world community's demand to stop all its activities.
In their resolution adopted at the end of the demonstration, they called on all international human rights groups to intervene and stop the execution of Political prisoners in Iran.
