Farhad Abdullahnejad executed on March 3 in Dastgard Prison in Isfahan.
According to Iran Human Rights, Farhad Abdullahnejad, a Kashan native, had been sentenced to qisas (retribution-in-kind) on murder charges. Speaking to IHR, an informed source said: "Farhad was arrested around five years ago. He had been transferred to solitary confinement in preparation for his execution seven months ago but he was returned to his cell after he managed to obtain an extension, but he was unable to change his victim’s family’s mind in that period.” At the time of writing, Farhad’s execution has not been reported by domestic media or officials in Iran.
