Hadi Hosseini Mirak was executed on January 3 in Ardebil Central Prison.
According to PMOI/MEK, Hadi Hosseini Mirak, a 26-year-old auto-mechanic engineering student, was executed in Ardebil Central Prison. Mirak, who was diagnosed with Wilson’s disease, had attempted suicide days earlier and the doctor prescribed two weeks of rest, but he was killed the day after leaving the hospital, with the prison head claiming that if they didn’t carry out executions, they wouldn’t be able to control prisoners.
