IRAN - Hamidreza and Mohsen Nejati executed in Rajai Shahr Prison on December 28

Hamidreza Nejati and Mohsen Nejati, an uncle and nephew sentenced for murder in the same case, were executed in Rajai Shahr Prison.
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, two men were executed in Rajai Shahr Prison on December 28. Their identities have been established as Hamidreza Nejati (pictured) and Mohsen Nejati who were sentenced to qisas for murder in the same case.
A source told Iran Human Rights: “Mohsen Nejati was Hamidreza’s uncle and they had been sentenced for a murder in the same case.”
They were transferred for execution from Hall 1, Ward 1 of the prison.
At the time of writing, neither of their executions have been reported by domestic media or officials in Iran.
