According to IHR sources, Alilou (which Radio Farda identifies instead as Aliploo), 38, from the Dehbarez region, was sentenced to death four years ago for carrying 125kg of "shisheh". Shisheh (literary glass, in Persian) is an Iranian nickname for methamphetamine in the form of crystal, and relatively cheap to buy in the Islamic Republic.
