January 6, 2026 - IRAN. Karamali Khani and Niazali Faryadi hanged in Kashmar on December 31.
According to information obtained by Iran Human Rights, two men were hanged in Kashmar Prison on 31 December 2025. One of the men was on death row for drug-related offences. He has been identified as 40-year-old Niazali Faryadi from Torbat Heidarieh who was arrested around two years ago.
The second man was identified as Karamali Khani from Kashmar who was arrested around four years ago for murder.
Other sources, and HoC, already reported the execution of Khani, not that of Faryadi.
At the time of writing, their executions have not been reported by domestic media in Iran.
