IRAN. KURDISH WOMAN CONDEMNED TO DEATH FOR EXTRA MARITAL SEXUAL RELATIONS

Ameneh Salam, a 21 year old Kurdish woman, was condemned to death in Iran for extra marital sexual relations. The unmarried woman made her relationship public after falling pregnant and going to a public health service for abortion. The news was given by the Iranian Kurdish Committee for Human Rights.
The man involved in the affair was condemned to 95 lashes.
