IRAN: KURDISH WOMAN HANGED AT SANANDAJ PRISON
According to the IHR sources, a Kurdish woman, Sharareh Elyasi, was executed on a murder charge at Sanandaj prison on 13 November 2018 morning.

According to the IHR sources, a Kurdish woman, Sharareh Elyasi, was executed on a murder charge at Sanandaj prison on 13 November 2018 morning.
Sharareh Elyasi, 33, was found guilty of the murder of her husband. She was arrested in 2013.
“Civil activists and the prisoner's family tried a lot until the last minutes to obtain a consent from the victim’s family,” the source said, "but they failed to win the consent."
The Iranian media outlets have not published news related to the execution so far. Elyasi was the third Kurdish woman executed in Iran since January this year.
