One man was hanged in public in the Markazi (central) province of Iran early this morning.
According to the official website of the judiciary in the Markazi province, a man who was not identified by name, was hanged in public in Mousa Abad, near Ashtian in the Markazi province, this morning.
The man was convicted of Moharebeh (enemity against God) for leading an armed gang involved in armed robbery, according to the report.
The charges have not been confirmed by independent sources.
