IRAN: MAN HANGED IN PUBLIC FOR DOUBLE MURDER

Iran has hanged in public a man convicted of killing a mother and daughter in the southeastern province of Sistan-Baluchestan, the Keyhan newspaper reported.
Abdolrahman Baluch Zehi, "had brutally killed a mother and daughter in October... in the town of Nikshahr," the local police commander, Colonel Mohammad Reza Mortaz, was quoted as saying.
"He was sentenced to death and hanged publicly," he added without giving the date of the execution.
