Mohammad Doosti hanged on 5 November at Tabriz Central Prison. A prisoner sentenced to “retribution” was hanged on the morning of 5 November 2019 at Tabriz Central Prison, a source told the Kurdistan Human Rights Network (KHRN). Mohammad Doosti, 34 years old, Kurdish from Maragheh, had been transferred to a special ward at the Tabriz Central Prison on 4 November in preparation for the execution. Doosti had murdered one of his neighbours about five years ago during a fight in a village in Maragheh.
