At dawn on January 30, a man was executed in Yasuj Prison.
HRANA has identified the executed prisoner as Mohammad Zaboli, a 45-year-old Lor resident of Yasuj. Based on information obtained by HRANA, Mr. Zaboli was arrested in 2019 on murder charges. A reliable source stated that his execution had been postponed multiple times before finally being enforced. As of the time of this report, prison authorities and relevant institutions have not officially announced his execution.
